You may be eligible to participate in a clinical study.
Conceptra Biosciences is currently conducting a study in 15 states to measure the effectiveness of an investigational medication taken by mouth compared to expectant management for resolution of first trimester pregnancy loss. Expectant management is sometimes called “watchful waiting,” and is considered an alternative to taking a medication or having a procedure. If you’ve been told by a health care provider that you are experiencing a pregnancy loss, they may have used the terms “miscarriage,” “pregnancy loss,” “embryonic demise” or “anembryonic pregnancy.”
To be eligible for the study, you must:

If you are eligible and chose to participate in this clinical study, you can choose between the treatment or expectant management for seven days. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists notes that expectant management is a part of patient-centered care for early pregnancy losses.
Participation in the study is voluntary and it has been reviewed by an independent Institutional Review Board.
